Abstract

Effect of Compensation on Employee Work Performance at PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk Site Palembang. This study aims to determine how much the effect of compensation on employee work performance at PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk Site Palembang. Data analysis techniques used are simple regression analysis. The results of this study are 1) Compensation proved to have a positive effect on Employee Performance at PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk Site Palembang, from the results of the research shows that the indicator of giving incentives to employees with high achievement is still lacking. 2) The magnitude of the effect of Compensation on Employee Performance at PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk Site Palembang of 8% 3) Based on the results of the calculation shows the linear regression equation, namely: Y = 2.654 + 0.181 X means the Compensation regression coefficient of 0.181 states that each addition of 1% compensation value, the value of work performance increases amounting to 0.181. The regression coefficient is positive, so it can be said that the direction of the influence of the compensation variable on work performance is a positive effect.
