Abstract

A job will be said to be completed efficiently if the completion time is the shortest. Successful measures of a production system in an industry are usually expressed in terms of productivity or the amount of output and input produced. The purpose of this study was to determine the standard production time and to determine the standard time before and after analysis using MOST. The result of standard time measurement using stop clock is 190.39 seconds, the result of the measurement with MOST before analysis is 139.72 seconds, the MOST after analysis is 112 seconds. The standard output using the old working method is 189 units of pencil slat per hour, and the standard output using MOST is 321 units of hourly pencil slats. Looking at the results of this study it is suggested that companies can consider implementing the research results obtained. Keywords: Measurement of work, MOST and standard time
