Abstract

This study aims to find out how the effect of Total Quality Management on the competitiveness of companies in PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk. The sample of this study is all employees of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk. Analysis of the data obtained by the questionnaire was tested using multiple regression tests to see the effect of applying Total Quality Management to the competitiveness of the company. The results of this study prove that the application of Total Quality Management to the competitiveness of companies has a positive effect (focus on customers, continuous system improvement, education and training and employee involvement and empowerment) and significant to the competitiveness of the company (continuous system improvement, education and training) of 51,1% and the remaining 48,9% can be explained by variables not examined in this study.The method used in this study uses multiple linear regression.
