Abstract

Abstrack: Nilam oil that the content especially Patchouli alcohol (C15H 16) often was used as the binder (fiksatif) in perfume so that the aroma keharuma him durable, also was used in the mixture of the cosmetic product for example in soap, shampoo and deodorant or lotion. In this research the method that was used was the extraction method with normal mixed solvent heksan with benzen, in this research wanted to be seen how the influence of extraction time against rendemen oil that was gotten, also how the influence from the raw material comparison (the stick and the leaves) that was used in the production of sapphire oil against rendemen results that were received. From results of the research was known that the raw material comparison (the stick: the leaves) with the comparison (1:1) with rendemen sapphire oil that was gotten by 3.44% (15,2 ml) whereas the influence of optimum extraction time 150 minutes with rendemen oil 4,07% (17,2 ml) Keyword: Nilam Oil, Method, Material Abstrak: Minyak Nilam yang kandungan utamanya Patchouli alkohol (C15H 16) banyak digunakan sebagai bahan pengikat (fiksatif) dalam parfum agar aroma keharumanya tahan lama , juga dipakai dalam campuran produk kosmetik misalnya dalam sabun , shampo dan deodorant atau lotion. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang dipakai adalah metode ekstraksi dengan pelarut campuran normal heksan dengan benzen, dalam penelitian ini ingin dilihat bagaimana pengaruh waktu ekstraksi terhadap rendemen minyak yang didapat , juga bagaimana pengaruh dari perbandingan bahan baku (batang dan daun) yang digunakan pada pembuatan minyak nilam terhadap rendemen hasil yang didapat. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa perbandingan bahan baku (batang : daun) dengan perbandingan (1:1) dengan rendemen minyak nilam yang didapat 3,44% (15,2 ml) sedangkan pengaruh waktu ekstraksi yang optimum 150 menit dengan rendemen minyak 4,07% (17,2 ml) Kata kunci: Minyak Nilam, Metode, Bahan Baku
