Abstract

Abstract: Biogas is a renewable energi source that can be used as a substitute for fossil energi than the longer will be exhausted. In this study the materials used for research using cow feces, from 3 different types of cows, ie cows used for breeding livestock, dairy cattle to be taken milk, and beef cattle are used for the consumption of its meat, is the type of reactor used reactor Fiberglasss. fermentation period for a month. Before performing fermentation diluted cow feces with water prior to using the ratio (1: 1.1), (1:1,2), (1:1,3), (1:1,4) and (1:1, 5), the fermentation is done for a month. Research results are obtained for cow feces from dairy cows with a ratio (1:1,3) produces biogas highest of 2,9640 kg/m3/day. Given this research is expected that livestock farmers can use biogas intalasi equally effective, alternatifs to meet energi needs.
