Abstract

Various innovations in education has experienced very rapid growth both technologically and curriculum development. Curriculum 2013 is the latest curriculum which is a strategy to improve education. In 2013 there is a balance of competence curriculum attitude (attitude), skills (skills) and knowledge (knowledge). In education, there are many ways of teaching through the media and one of them is through electronic media such as computers and smartphones. In the smartphone there are a wide variety of operating systems, and are now most in demand is the android operating system. Android attracted many people because the operating system was attractive and easy to use. To make the design of a system, we need a method of system development, the method used is prototype method. In it, the authors examine more deeply the issue in a study entitled. "The software-based scientific approach to teaching with android in Tematik 4 Tema 5”. The research results revealed that with the android operating system-where the public can obtain information on Tematik 4 Tema 5 via mobile phone or tablet. In addition, through this app parents can guide their children in the learning process at home and the application can also allow students to learn and make the students so as not to saturate the learning process.
