Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the presence of the micro franchises to increase the empowerment of women in the city of Palembang. To find out how the impact of the presence of the micro franchises to increase the empowerment of women, the researchers will use the survey method. Variables examined in this study is the existence of a micro franchise and women's empowerment. Primary data used is in the form of a structured interview questionnaire that was built on the existence of a micro franchise and women's empowerment. While secondary data used in this study is data on the micro franchises in Palembang are derived from relevant agencies. Data obtained from the questionnaire and then analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that an increase in revenue and the empowerment of women through micro franchise business in the city of Palembang
