Abstract

This research was based-backs by a handful of people assuming that entrepreneurs create and prepare a business plan that is not very important, because it is based on their experience that a business does not need to be planned carefully, because on the way later on a program that has been designed to be changed according needs, thus making of business plans by some entrepreneurs are often made carelessly. This research will also discuss the role of business plans in improving the success of the business. The spread sheet results from the questionnaire conducted by the respondent SMEs that exist under the guidance BDEC. From the results of this study found that the role of the business plan to business success is not significant with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.197, meaning that there is very low correlation between the business plan with the success of the business. Terminated while the coefficient r2 = 0.039, means to contribute to the success of the venture's business plan by 4% just means it is still very low. This is due mostly businessmen put forward about profits, risk may be. Another reason that a business plan is made according to the majority of business owners just used solely to obtain funding, either borrowed funds or investment funds. The role of the business plan will be made in detail to minimize the risks that may come.
