Abstract

This study aims to build a decision support applications election majors in college for high school graduates by using matching profile analysis. This application is expected to be a reference for high school graduates when choosing majors in college that majors are selected according to academic abilities, talents and interests of students. Stages of development of this application is the analysis phase, design phase and implementation phase. In the analysis phase needs analysis, analysis of profile matching analysis calculation and analysis of the system functional requirements. In the design phase carried out the design of the application architecture, business process models applications, database management systems design and application interface design. In the implementation phase of construction applications and tests performed with a variety of input students' academic abilities, aptitudes and interests. This research resulted in a decision support applications electoral college with majors in applying the matching profile analysis. Key word : Decision Support System, Course , Profile Matching Analysis Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun sebuah aplikasi pendukung keputusan pemilihan jurusan pada perguruan tinggi bagi para lulusan sekolah menengah atas dengan menerapkan profile matching analysis. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi lulusan sekolah menengah atas pada saat memilih jurusan pada perguruan tinggi sehingga jurusan yang dipilih sesuai dengan kemampuan akademik, bakat dan minat yang dimiliki siswa. Tahapan pengembangan aplikasi ini adalah tahapan analisis, tahapan perancangan dan tahapan implementasi. Pada tahap analisis dilakukan analisis kebutuhan, analisis perhitungan profile matching analysis dan analisis kebutuhan fungsional sistem. Pada tahap perancangan dilakukan rancangan arsitektur aplikasi, model proses bisnis aplikasi, perancangan sistem manajemen basis data dan perancangan antar muka aplikasi. Pada tahap implementasi dilakukan konstruksi aplikasi dan ujicoba dengan berbagai variasi input kemampuan akademik siswa, bakat dan minat. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi pendukung keputusan pemilihan jurusan pada perguruan tinggi dengan menerapakan profile matching analysis.
