Abstract
This research is to study the implementation strategy of the Information Technology (IT) at the Library of Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Pagar Alam (STTP), this study used qualitative research methods with descriptive type. collecting data are using interviews, observation and documentation. The Location research in STTP Library. The conclusion of thisresecah is the existence of internal and external factors that are owned and faced by the Library of STTP. Internal and external factors. It is analyzed by using SWOT matrix analysis, then found a strategy to implement IT in STTP Library. The strategies are 1). SO strategy use the power of internal organization to take advantage of external opportunities, 2). ST Strategy use the power of internal organization to reduce the impact of external threats, 3). WO strategy aims to improve internal weaknesses to exploit external opportunities, and 4). WT strategy aims to reduce internal weaknesses by avoiding external threats.
