Abstract
Growth in the number of customers along with increased electricity bills cause cash flow of PT PLN (Persero) Area WS2JB Palembang increased. With conventional systems implemented before 2010 requires a relatively long time to send the cash inflows from the customer to the account of the reception of PT PLN (Persero) Head Office. Therefore, PT PLN (Persero) Area WS2JB Palembang in 2010 introduced a system of payment of electricity bills, called Payment Point Online Bank (PPOB). Because Payments Online Payment Point Bank (PPOB) is applied, and then the cash inflows into account reception PT PLN (Persero) have been quicker. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in revenue receipts of electricity before and after Payment Point Online Bank (PPOB) to speed cash flow. The sample in this study is 2010 and 2015 with the observation of the month average cash remittances received from customers to the Head Office of PT. PLN (Persero) Center. The data used is secondary data and analysis techniques are Wilcoxon test. Results of analysis using SPSS version 18 indicates that there is a difference between Online Payment Point Bank (PPOB) and conventional systems in accelerating cash inflows to 0.000 <0.05 of significance value.
