Abstract
South Sumatra is one of the biggest rubber producers in Indonesia. Rubber plantations in South Sumatra currently also support economic aspects in the surrounding environment or society. Rubber is produced into finished and semi-finished goods in the form of latex, sheet, crum rubber, tires, etc. (Suherman, 2013). But in South Sumatra the production of rubber into finished goods is still very minimal, whereas if processed properly, rubber can be a product of high economic value. Kampung Talond Kedondong Kebun Bunga Sukarami District is an area of rubber souvenir craft industry which has been established since 2012. produced various types of souvenirs, such as key chains, refrigerator decorations, bross, and souvenirs for other agencies / industries. The main ingredients used are latex and coloring, the raw material is produced using equipment that is still very simple, such as stoves, molds, pans, and latex dropper. The problem with these SMEs is the lack of innovation in design and lack of marketing. Therefore the purpose of this service is to assist in the design and innovation of rubber souvenirs and assist in marketing. Keywords: product design, latex, souvenirs, rubber crafts.
