Abstract
This study aims to determine how the influence of work motivation, work discipline on employee performance at the Palembang City Education Office. The sample in this study were 90 respondents who were permanent employees. The sampling method used by researchers was Saturated Samples. This type of research is a quantitative study using multiple linear regression analysis techniques processed using the SPSS V.23 application and produces a regression equation Y = 4.542 + 0.407 b1X1 + 0.436 b2X2. The results in this study are : 1.) work motivation partially has a significant effect on employee performance at the Palembang City Education Office. This can be seen from the T test, namely tcount 2.949 with a significant level of 0.004 < 0.05, the value of tcount> ttable (2.949 > 1.662). 2.) Work discipline partially has a significant effect on employee performance at the Palembang City Education Office. This can be seen from the T test, namely tcount 4.352 with a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05, the value of tcount> ttable (4.352 > 1.662). 3.) work motivation, work discipline have a direct (simultaneous) effect on employee performance at the Palembang City Education Office. This can be seen from the F test, namely Fcount 22.783 with a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05, the value of Fcount > Ftable (22.783 > 3.10).
