Abstract
This study aims to analyze the comparison of financial performance between bumn bank and private bank (BRI and BCA) in the Indonesian stock market by using a loan to deposit ratio, return on asses, return on equity, operational income operating expenses and capital adequacy ratio. The population of this study consisted of 2 companies, namely PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk and PT Bank Central AsiaTbk in the 2014-2018. This study uses secondary data from the financial statements of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. The research method used is quantitative descriptive, which refers to comparative analysis using a loan to deposit ratio, return on assets, return on equity, operating expenses operating income and capital adequacy ratio. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that there are differences in financial performance between PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk and PT. Central Bank Asia Tbk
