Abstract
This study used normal concrete forming materials, namely cement, water, coarse aggregates and fine aggregates, sand, coarse aggregates used were broken stones with sizes 1/1, ½, and 2/3, with the water used coming from the PDAM. For adhesives used Holcim cement, Cemen Padang, Cemen Scg, Cemen Baturaja, Cemen Tigaroda. The study aims to determine the behavior of cement on the compressive strength of concrete, cube-shaped specimens with a size of 15 x 15 x 15 cm.Each test specimen is 9 specimens. Compressive strength testing is carried out when the age of concrete is 7.14.28 days. research was conducted to find out which concrete behavior is higher in compressive strength. the method used is pressed with a Loading Gauge. The test results obtained optimum compressive strength with a compressive strength of 420 KN with the age of 28days.
