Abstract
. Geographic information system is a computer-based system used to store and manipulate geographic information . Geographic information system mapping the electrical one of them to determine the location, substations , transformer ratio and its capacity in the South Sumatra province in particular substation owned by PT PLN ( Persero ) . The system uses the ArcGIS 10.2 in the manufacturing process of digitizing maps that use waterfall method , and ArcGIS Online . With the geographic information system mapping electricity to PT PLN ( Persero) in the form of spatial data presented , able to assist and facilitate the public to obtain related information and help institutions such as PT PLN ( Persero ) to manage and update the data of electricity in the province of South Sumatra , so that the delivery of information to become more effective .
