Abstract
: The purpose of this research is conducted to find out how the effect of right issue of share prices before and after the rights issue during the period of 2003-2005. From testing the hypothesis that the author did with the computer program SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science). The author eventually gather that there is no significant influence of the right issue to the stock price before and after the rights issue, from the analysis, the movement of average daily share prices before and after the rights issue rights issue can be obtained that the positive and negative impact for the company. Positive impact if the existence of the rights issue does not affect the stock price even if an effect can raise the stock price, otherwise a negative impact if the volume of shares outstanding increased to lower the stock price.
