Abstract
This study aims to reveal the intertextual relationship between the poetry of "Pada Senja" by Ajip Rosidi and the folktale of "Jaka Tarub" . The principle of intertextual relationship is a literary work can not be separated from the work that preceded literary. Hypogram is the background to the creation of text that other literary works. The folktale of .“Jaka Tarub” be hypogram the poetry of “Pada Senja” . A text which then has three aspects related to the possibility that the previous text, which is affirmative (set), negation (reject), or restoration (updating). Intertextual relationship evident in the poetry of "Pada Senja" and the folktale of "Jaka Tarub" but declined morality of Jaka Tarub.
