Abstract

In the selection of prospective team leader at PT Astra Honda Motor, so far still use the manual selection system, using some basic criteria that become the foundation of the company in determining the prospective team leader. The selection of team leader candidates is done by manually counting the number of points from each criterion, so that the team leader selection process takes a long time and allows for errors such as errors in the calculation of points of each criterion. For that we need a system that can be used to facilitate the company in the process of selecting a team leader who has the ability to analyze the selection of prospective team leader and can improve employee performance of the election results of the team leader candidate. The process of selecting a candidate team leader will be built through a decision support system. In the decision support system of this team leader candidate will be built using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The advantages of AHP method in decision making is by comparing each criterion owned by a problem so as to get a weight of value of each criterion.
