Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the application of quality management based on customer focused management/ (X1), continuous improvement / (X2), and the employee empowerment / (X3) has a significant influence on the internal audit function either simultaneously or partially on SMEs in Palembang. By using explanatory survey and census techniques, together with Spearman-Rank validity test and Alpha Cronbach reliability test for the research instruments, and by testing the hypothesis by using path analysis, it is indicated that the application of quality management both simultaneously and partially effect significantly to the internal audit function.
