Abstract
Dalam perencanaan subgrade diperlukan data dan informasi yang mencukupi pada lokasi sehingga perencanaan yang sesuai konstruksi galian, timbunan, struktur kemiringan dan drainasi jalan rel dapat dibangun dengan baik. Untuk itu, diperlukan investigasi lokasi yang dibagi dalam dua tahap, yaitu investigasi awal (preliminary) dan investigasi terperinci (detailed).
