Abstract

Geographic Information System is a computer system that has the ability to build, store, manage and display spatial and non spatial data information geographically. Geographic information systems have the ability to connect many data at a certain point on the surface of the earth, collect, analyze and ultimately map the results of the map. This geographic information system can visualize spatial data in the form of thematic maps directly related to the existing patient in the city of Palembang. With the existence of geographic information system many advantages obtained among others facilitate in analyzing the condition of an area against the disease, not to mention the spread of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). So that the geographic information system is expected to provide information on the spread of dengue disease.
