Abstract
In Stiper Sriwigama Palembang data storage is still done manually by using the computer, external harddisk and flash so it is feared if the device is damaged or data exposed to the virus can cause loss of data. Therefore, it is needed an online storage media that is safe from data damage physically and data damage digitally. With the online storage (storage online), Stiper Sriwigama Palembang staff can save important files safely without worrying about data loss and can be used as data backup. In writing thesis, the author uses observation techniques that is with systematic observation of the object of research so as to produce an objective result. In addition the authors also use the interview technique with Staff Stiper Sriwigama Palembang. For software that is File Storage Online is built using PHP software and Atom Editor and MYSQL Database. With the Online File Storage is expected to digunakakn for backup of important data in Stiper Sriwigama Palembang and can store data anytime whenever and wherever without having to carry storage media.
