Abstract
PT PLN (Persero) Pembangkitan Sumatera Bagian Selatan Sektor Pengendalian Pembangkitan Keramasan is a company engaged in the field of electricity power. This study discusses the variables-variables that affect the performance of the PT PLN (Persero) Pembangkitan Sumatera Bagian Selatan Sektor Pengendalian Pembangkitan Keramasan. Variables - variables that will be analyzed is the emotional intelligence and motivation. The study population was PT PLN (Persero) Pembangkitan Sumatera Bagian Selatan Sektor Pengendalian Pembangkitan Keramasan. Samples used as many as 50 by using certain characteristics. Hypothesis testing results show that emotional intelligence and motivation variables affect the performance. The R2 only 53,4 %, which means 46,6 % is the influence of variables- other variables that explain the performance of the company
