Abstract
A network administrator has a duty me-monitoring network that the network is always in optimal condition. The process of monitoring the existing network requires admin to go to the server directly. In order for network communications traffic data packets to work optimally it is necessary Network Management System in the communications network.Monitoring device is one part of a Network Management System that is used to display the amount of data traffic that passes through a network. In this study, a network monitoring tool used are Cacti, IPHost Network Monitor, and Axence NetTools.All three tools that can monitor the network through a browser and software with the features of the report, in order to determine whether or not there is packet loss.
