Abstract

This study describes the effect of attitudes and motivation to learn the language of achievement in subjects Indonesian and English Junior High School students in Seberang Ulu Palembang with descriptive methods based on antitative approaches. Attitude referred to in this research is the attitude of the language; attitude towards Indonesian students. Motivation question is the motivation to study the language lessons Indonesia.Populasi and the sample was Junior High School eighth grade students in the region Seberang Ulu Palembang were randomly selected. Techniques of data collection using questionnaires. Analysis using a percentage formula. The results showed that in fact the language attitudes and motivation of students not having an effect on student learning prestai. This suggests that there are likely other factors, in this case predicted that the external factors that have an influence on the interpretation of student learning
