Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of Human Capital (X1) and organizational culture (X2) on employee productivity (Y) at PT. Matahari Palembang Square. Samples were obtained by simple random sampling technique and 191 respondents were selected as the sample. While the data analysis used in this research includes data quality test, classical assumption test, multiple linear analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient test, and hypothesis testing. Partial assay results significant (t-test) of the analyst and the discussion showed that: 1) Human capital, has a significance of 0.001, indicates that the value is smaller than the limit of 0.05 (0.001 < 0.05), and the tcount 3.482 > ttable 1.653. Thus, it means that Human capital (X1) significantly affects the performance of employee’s productivity. 2) organizational culture has a significant value of 0.000, which indicates that the value is smaller than the significant limit of 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), and the value of tcount 14.366 > t table 1.653. Thus, it means that organizational culture (X2) has a significant effect the performance of employee productivity. While significant test results simultaneously (f test) show that the value of Fcount 231.723 > Ftabel 3.89. Thus, it means that the variable Human capital (X1) and organizational culture (X2) simultaneously have a significant influence on employee productivity (Y) at PT. Matahari Palembang.
