Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which learning methods strap students passing game can improve the service capabilities under volleyball. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Collecting data in this study by conducting two observations and two cycles of the first cycle and cycle II. The results of the research that through learning methods rope student passing game can improve the bottom volleyball serve seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Betung 6 belonging to pass in the lower reaches serve 12 people 27.8% in the initial test, the first cycle after using learning methods game past the rope reaches 28 69.4%, continued to cycle 2 is an increase in the score acquisition score as much as 22.6% of the measurement results of the test under the servicing capabilities volleyball students in cycle 1 that is 69.4% to 92.3%. Conclusions: These positive changes that occur in service learning volleyball games down through learning the game past the rope turns students' abilities to perform service under increased significantly. Tip: Modify the learning should be performed by a physical education teacher in order to broaden and improve the quality of learning in students.
