Abstract
Unemployment is a situation where a person belonging to the labor force wants to get a job but cannot get it. Unemployment causes various economic and social problems to those who experience it. In addition, it can interfere with the level of family health. Prolonged unemployment has a bad psychological effect on the unemployed and their families. Unemployment is a very bad problem for the economy and society, and therefore efforts must be made to overcome them. But based on its characteristics, unemployment can be classified into several groups. Therefore, using partitional clustering algorithm will classify unemployment based on its characteristics. So that the number of unemployed groups will be obtained based on their characteristics, so that their hopes make it easier to find a solution to overcome unemployment.
