Abstract

The background of making this prototype is as a monitoring of a baby room devoted to infants aged 3-6 months and aims to help parents in supervising their children who are often left at home and only accompanied by a caregiver. This tool is a prototype that uses a wifi-based CCTV camera and utilizes 2 sensors, the body temperature sensor (MLX90614) and the sound sensor as a trigger. In addition to using 2 sensors, this tool also uses Arduino Uno as a tool control, the 800L SIM module as a GSM / GPRS module so that triggers originating from the sensor can be received by the user in the form of ringtone notifications and see the amount of body temperature identified through the ThinkSpeak application on Mobile phone. The use of the 800L SIM module is not only to provide ringtones but also as a medium for sending the SMS Gateway to enable and disable the relay module and CCTV cameras. This prototype will notify parents in the form of ringtone notifications which means the baby is crying or his body temperature is rising. Both of these sensors have a certain distance in identifying the source of heat and sound that if it is too far away the sensor can not capture it anymore. This distance also affects the speed of the 800L SIM module in giving signals to mobile phones.
