Abstract
The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness and contribution of tax revenues street lighting to the realization of revenue from local taxes on Regional Revenue Office Palembang in order to know the shortcomings and weaknesses in tax collection street lighting so that it can provide suggestions that are considered necessary for the development of the Department of Revenue The area of Palembang. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The measurement using the formula effectiveness and contribution. The processed data is the target data street lighting tax, street lighting tax realization, and the realization of local taxes. Data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis.
