Abstract
This study aims to find empirical evidence and analyzes the factors that influence the extent of voluntary disclosure and its implications for information asymmetry . Samples taken in this research is the consumer goods industry sector in the years 2014-2015 . Sampling was done by purposive sampling method that produces 66 samples a year from 2014 to 2015 . The data used is secondary data retrieved through technical documentation. This research was carried out by a simple linear regression analysis , in which the voluntary disclosure becomes the independent variable and the asymmetry of information as the dependent variable . keywords : broad disclosure , information asymmetry
