Abstract

In line with the implementation of distance learning (ODL), which is being developed by the government, the selection of appropriate media, effectively serves the needs must be pursued by the organizers and participants of distance education. PJJ see the need that can not be separated from the transaction lifecycle communication and information exchange between actors PJJ, the Internet becomes a medium of choice: This study aims to measure the degree of readiness of e-Learning (e�Learning Readiness) as a medium of learning in ODL implementation. E-Learning readiness measurement is based on the model of the e-Learning readiness expressed by an index, which is mapped using e-Learning readiness index Aydin & Tasci version with a scale of 1-5 based on variables faculty, students, staff and infrastructure. The study was conducted by using descriptive statistical techniques by using a questionnaire as an instrument of collecting data from 50 respondents consisting of 15 lecturers, 5 employees and 30 students. Data processing results indicate that e-Learning Universitas Bina Darma as PJJ media has an index of 4.3 which means it is ready to deploy an e-Learning (ready go). For each dimension acquired competence level of preparedness is a lecturer at 4:29, the perception of lecturers at 4:39, the readiness of e-Learning material is 4.25, the perception of students at 4:38, at 4:23 institutional commitment, availability of 4.3 tablespoons of infrastructure and availability of 4:32.
