Abstract
Discipline is the mental attitude of a person or group of people who always wish to follow or obey all the rules and decisions that have been set either in writing or not in writing. Discipline in carrying out work is very important. Not only does it make our performance better, discipline also makes us more responsible for the tasks we do. This certainly affects the quality of service to the community. However, at the present time the implementation of work discipline, especially for employees is still lacking and there are many violations that are still being committed. The purfose of this research is find out how discipline the employees work in the OKI District Office of Transportation. The research method used in data collection is through observation, interviews, and literacy. The data analysis technique used qualitative and descriptive analysis methods. From the observation, it can be conclouded that in terms of discipline towards working hours, employees can still be seen arriving late and leaving before office hors end. Considering that so far, the leadership has tplerated many violations of working hours regulation, so to further improve employee discipline in addition to appeals, firmer efforts are needed, such as imposing penaltiesfor employees who violate them.
