Abstract
Facility layout is an important step in supporting the smooth work process. This study tries to analyze the layout of production facilities, as a result of the replacement of diesel engines to electric motors. Without using basic methods and studies before changes are made, problems arise in the production process. That is happening on the inclined e.bunch engine and the supply of fuel to the boiler (fuel distributor conveyor) often breaks down, the impact of the problem makes the production process performance not optimal. The purpose of the research is to calculate the space requirements based on production facilities, get a design layout layout of facilities, especially in production facilities and calculate the difference in area requirements for the production process.5.555,82 m2 , better layout design of production facilities based on the SLP method. And the difference between the area of the current production process and the needs of the area of the proposed production process, based on the method of systematic layout planning (SLP) there was a shortfall of 1,851.98m
