Abstract

Scheduling is an activity that must be possessed by any person or agency for help in performing daily activities. At PT Hok Tong has shif employee scheduling system, scheduling is done on the human resources department to use the computer is however by microsoft Exel. In PT Hok Tong already has a fingerprint system for scheduling and employee data. But there are some things from the lack of a fingerprint that is, if the HRD provides schedule data that many systems have become more severe so that if when you open the report takes a fairly long time, the time of entry into sistempun need an update, so every year the system sidelined always do penginputan the new so the old data will be replaced with the new data. In the human resources department did inputting a schedule every week so it takes a long time to reschedule each section division. To simplify the process of scheduling the work shift, Manager PT Hok Tong felt the need to build information systems that facilitate the optimal scheduling of shift work scheduling prepare employees. The author proposes a genetic algorithm as a method to find the best solution of a problem scheduling of activities related to the optimization of limited space with limited readiness speaker
