Abstract
distribution of goods is the main activity for distributor companies. As a distributor it is very dependent on the amount of inventory or stock of goods to be distributed to customers or consumers. At present the use of information technology is very helpful for companies in carrying out various activities such as sales, the order includes processing inventory data, so there is no excess of goods in the warehouse or vice versa lack of inventory which results in disruption of transactions with customers. PT. Warmart 88 is a company that is fully responsible for supplying goods to all 212 Mart outlets in Palembang. In its activities there are still problems in terms of inventory starting from excess or lack of inventory. In addition there are also other problems related to distribution activities, namely the absence of a system to optimize the supply of goods so that distribution costs can be reduced so that the distribution will be effective and efficient. This study aims to build a system that will help overcome the problem of distributing goods so that the inventory is more optimal by applying the web-based DRP (Distribution Requirement Planning) method
