Abstract
The consequence of regional autonomy is that each region was guided to finance its own regional development by increasing local revenue (PAD). Hotel tax was one of the Regional Original Revenues (PAD). Hotel tax revenue in the city of Palembang contributes well in the government's efforts to increase local revenue (PAD). This study aims to analyze the effect of the number of tourists, number of hotels, inflation rate and per capita income on hotel tax revenue in the city of Palembang in 2014-2016. The data used is secondary data and data collection techniques in this study are documentation carried out on the Regional Tax Management Agency (BPPD) and the Palembang Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Based on the results of data analysis it is known that, the variable number of tourists has a negative influence and the inflation rate variable has a positive effect on hotel tax revenue in the city of Palembang, while the number of hotels and per capita income does not affect hotel tax revenue in Palembang City in 2014-2016.
