Abstract
At this time in determining the concentration of majors only based on the wishes of the students themselves without the existence of a system that can provide considerations or rules that can be used as a reference for students in choosing the concentration of majors in accordance with academic ability it has, the academic ability itself includes the value - the value of the courses that have been taken during the course lecturing. Selection of concentration without considering the ability or academic potential that students have an impact on the students themselves who feel wrong to take concentration and cause difficulties in the process of absorption of lecture materials in accordance with the concentration he chose. Therefore it is necessary to create a software tool that can provide direction or consideration for students in determining the concentration of majors based on certain academic values, so that students can view the suggested information of the suggested department through the android software they use. In the development of this software, the software's ability to provide concentration information in accordance with the needs of students is in the form of concentration information that students should choose, so in this study researchers are interested in making a technology that utilizes the android platform.
