Abstract
LPP TVRI TVRI Sumatra as one region with a Type A station is TVRI Unit Support Center as well as strength in the organization of the broadcast of local, regional, national and international. In Knowledge Management System section of Business Development and Broadcasting is now very important role, for the survival of their business. Because the process of Knowledge Management is one of the operating systems in an enterprise. Knowledge Management is therefore an effective and efficient is necessary to improve the performance and productivity of the company. Because there is no special program for knowledge processing for increased performance. Based on the above authors are interested and want to do research entitled "DESIGNING THE KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE TVRI Sumatra THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND BROADCAST" by using the UML will then formulate a list of system requirements as the basis for the design of Knowledge Management System for business development and broadcasting will be designed. The results are TVRI Sumatra has had the initiative in the knowledge strategy. Seen from the effort to capture knowledge, knowledge sharing and knowledge utilization in the development cycle and broadcasting businesses.
