Abstract

The main goal of this research is analyzing the condition of the system and existing information technology, preparing proposals and information technology systems which capable on supporting strategic business now and in the future at the Ministries of Religion Palembang. The method which used in the strategic planning and information technology systems in this research refers to the strategic planning schemes Ward and Peppard. In the analysis stage of research conducted site visits to the place, for data collection through interviews and observations to the research site. Based on this analysis will produce McFarland portfolio matrix to determine which applications that are needed now and future potential. The results of this research and determine the condition of existing information technology, methodology which used in this reaserch is description of internal and external environmental conditions, and strategic steps of what to do so the application of information technology can be done effectively and efficiently.
