Abstract

This research was conducted at the institute Forum for Religious Harmony (FKUB) Ogan Ogan Ilir, with a headline that raised "Optimizing the role and coordination of the Forum for Religious Harmony Ogan Ogan Ilir". Subjects consisted of four speakers each of the board FKUB, Kesbangpol Linmas, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The primary data obtained through interviews on informants and secondary data drawn from observation and documentation then analyzed qualitatively. This study tries to find out how much and optimal role and coordination Communication Forum for Religious in OKI. The results in this study is the role and coordination are built FKUB OKI that in fact contribute to and take part of the problem-permasalan complex, especially about the religious community had not fully executed and the role and function of FKUB not optimal as stated in the Joint Regulation Menag and Interior Minister no. 9 and 8 of 2006
