Abstract

With the strong forces of globalization, therefore essential to build the capacities of Small Medium Entreprises (SMEs) in the region in order to ensure that they are highly competitive, innovative and be able to utilize the regional economic initiatives. The technopreneurship outlines the evolution of SMEs development. Technopreneurship is simple entrepreneurship in a technology intensive context. It is a process of merging technology prowess and entrepreneurial talent and skill. Encompassing the oppression of society limits and began to merge into the public eye, women owned small business also has to promote technopreneurship. This paper tends to explore the technopreneurship among women owned small business at Palembang city. Within the qualitative data, it will identifies the implementation of technopreneurship of women owned small business in the city. Moreover, it will be recognize the readiness of this society in handling Asean Economic Community 2015.
