Abstract
The population census system is intended to improve efficiency in terms of community service in Srimulya Village, Sematang Borang District, Palembang City "so far in processing population data is still in manual form, making it difficult and slow in the process of adding, changing or deleting specific data on population data". Therefore it is necessary to conduct research to develop a population census system. The purpose of this system is to provide convenience to village staff in processing population data and inform it in order to provide fuel efficiency in community services. "" The steps taken in this case are the analysis and system design, and system testing. In this implementation the PHP programming language is used and the database used is MySQL.
