Abstract

This study aims to determine the right marketing strategy to be applied in PT Wijaya Karya Beton, Tbk. This research is an explanatory research in the form of applied research which is descriptive (explanation without hypothesis-testing) using a qualitative approach with an analysis focus on developing alternative strategies which are the priority to be implemented. The method of processing and analyzing data used in this study is an analysis of the internal and external environment. In the input stage (The Input Stage), IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) and EFE (External Factor Evaluation) matrices are used. In the matching stage (The Matching Stage) used the IE Matrix (Internal-External) analysis tool and the SWOT matrix. From the analysis, it is concluded that the main strategy of PT Wijaya Karya Beton, Tbk Sales Area II is the SO (Strength Opportunities) strategy where this strategy uses all its strengths to take advantage of the opportunities that PT Wijaya Karya Beton, Tbk Sales Region II has. Namely: Improving the quality of Precast Concrete products, completeness of distribution facilities, payment terms, Precast Concrete product prices and delivery accuracy and low prices with the aim of expanding the market and building a factory in Palembang to cut distribution costs so that prices are more competitive. Consideration of the company's internal and external factors can be used as benchmarks for the progress of PT Wijaya Karya Beton, Tbk Sales Area II. Such as internal factors, namely the completeness of distribution facilities and field tests, and external factors recruiting experienced and educated experts to be able to compete with competitors
