Abstract

.One of the required information Banyuasin is a need for information relating to areas of social facilities such as places of Worship, Health, Transport, Security, Attractions and Shopping Center. Social facilities to be very important, because it becomes the daily needs that are often used by people in Banyuasin. However, because of the large number of social facilities in Banyuasin, some communities may be in a state of urgency, have difficulty in finding a position or location of social amenities nearby. Not only the people who live in Banyuasin, people from outside Banyuasin visiting also often suffer from a lack of knowledge and information Banyuasin Regency location-location of social amenities in the district Banyasin. Therefore, the required digital map application of social facilities, where the system may be one means for informing a social facilities. With the digital map application is a web-based social facilities that people can use it for their own purposes eg to locate or place the necessary social facilities. This study was conducted aiming to facilitate the public to search the location-location of existing social facilities in the Banyuasin. In this study the research method used is descriptive. By using the system development methodologies Waterfall methodology.
