Abstract

Employee planning, especially Non-permanent Employees, is needed so that the number of employees matches the workload and does not burden the budget of an organization. One method used for employee planning based on workload analysis is the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method, to estimate the calculation of the time needed to complete the tasks. This method is used to analyze the needs of employees at the Department of Public Housing, Settlement and Land in the Banyuasin District Government. The data source comes from interview informants who represent each position to identify the activities in a task and the time spent on that task. The results showed that the number of Non-Permanent Employees is beyond number, and the numbers were not well distributed in each division. This study provides recommendations for the office to make decisions on the number of non-permanent employees and its distribution in this organization.
