Abstract

The formulation of the problems in this study, how do you see the competence of Human Resources affecting the performance of employees at Bina Darma University? " The purpose of this research itself is to determine the effect of competence on the performance of Bina Darma University employees. This research data collection method is through questionnaires with a sample of 90 (ninety) employees who work at Bina Darma University. The analysis used in this study is a simple linear regression analysis. The results of the reliability testing of the conbach value of X and Y variables were 0.841 and 0.857 and were greater than the minimum Cronbach 0.6 value, thus indicating that the research instrument used to measure competence and performance variables could be declared reliable or reliable. Based on the above output, the significance value (Sig.) Of 0.000 is smaller than <0.05 so that it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of competence (X) on employee performance (Y). Partial testing shows that the influence of competence on the performance of the University of Bina Darma. The better the competencies possessed by employees will increase / improve the performance of these employees
