Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze Work Motivation and Discipline in PT. Astra International. Tbk- Honda South Sumatra Branch. In conducting this research the researcher chose the type of qualitative descriptive research. To obtain data the authors conducted interviews, observations, documentation. Based on the results of the analysis of the motivation carried out by the leadership of PT. Astra International Honda Main Dealer Palembang to all its employees is direct motivation and indirect motivation. Direct motivation provided by management by giving praise, giving bonuses, holiday allowances, giving other assistance, giving leave and awards. Indirect motivation provided by the company is positive motivation and negative motivation. inhibiting factors for employee discipline are caused by internal factors and external factors. Internal or internal factors of employees themselves are often late for employees to go to the office, the number of reasons for leaving late, decreased enthusiasm and enthusiasm for work, completion of work that is slow and less thorough.
