Abstract
This research was conducted at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang where the loading and unloading department still uses manual handling which often causes work accidents. This study aims to see significantly the effect of ergonomic elements, organization, methods and tools, as well as work design concepts on the implementation of Participatory Ergonomics at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang and to see the effect of reducing work accident rates and costs on the benefits of implementing Participatory Ergonomics. The results obtained from this study are Participation Correlation (X1), organization (X2), ergonomic methods and tools (X3), and the concept of work design (X4) have a strong influence on the implementation of Participatory Ergonomics at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. Elements of participation, organization, methods of ergonomic tools, and work design concepts at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja have a regression model Y = 46.743 + 0.996 X1 + 0.754 X2 + 3.041 X3 - 4.282 X4. The reduction in the level of work accidents and cost management have an effect on the benefits of implementing Participatory Ergonomics at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. The element of reducing the level of work accidents and the cost of implementing participatory ergonomics implementation costs is a regression model Y = 1,870 + 0.128 X1 + 0.009 X2.
